About the role<\/strong>
The Accounting Assistant has as primary responsibility to secure the daily
processing of all main transactions, also in preparation for a smooth and
accurate month end closing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong>
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
\u2022 Booking of all types of sales and purchase invoices
\u2022 Processing cash receipts to customer accounts
\u2022 Reconciling all cash accounts on a daily basis
\u2022 Generating monthly accounts receivable statements to customers
\u2022 Recording all bill payments
\u2022 Contributing to credit risk processing of clients
\u2022 Entering journal entries as required
\u2022 Verifying employee expense reports for accuracy and completeness
\u2022 Coding and entering monthly company credit card charges
\u2022 Updating assigned account reconciliations and verifying completeness
\u2022 Assisting finance colleagues to achieve complete and timely monthly
closing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also other duties may be assigned to meet occurring business needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications\/Requirements<\/strong>
\u2022 At least MBO+ level education
\u2022 5-7 years of general accounting experience
\u2022 Familiar with international business and reconciliation rules
\u2022 A \u2018Can do\u2019 attitude and a team player who can work well across the organization
\u2022 Attention to detail, where relevant
\u2022 Well-developed verbal & written communication skills
\u2022 Ability to prioritize tasks & work under pressure to meet deadlines
\u2022 Strong PC skills (including Microsoft Office, preferably Power BI) & experience with
main business systems (like SAP, Exact and\/or NetSuite)
\u2022 Ability and flexibility to solve problems
\u2022 Fluent in English, other languages are a plus<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
