The Role
PRN’s Marketing Manager is responsible for enhancing and increasing marketing activities promoting PRN solutions for in-store retail media networks. Major brands worldwide are finding value in adding retail media networks to their in-store digital signage. PRN is leading the global conversation on increasing revenue by bringing ad networks into the physical store.
The Marketing Manager will focus on amplifying the PRN brand, strategy and tactical execution of activities that tell the PRN story, generate inbound leads and create sales opportunities. The right candidate for this job will be located in the UK, within a 200 mile radius of London.
Core responsibilities, as part of the STRATACACHE marketing team of writers, web developers, designers, event and automation specialists:
- Strategy of marketing activities across channels: Strategize and lead tactical execution marketing activities that will drive leads, promote brand awareness and showcase the value of PRN. Activities should be related to NA as well as the European markets.
- Revamp existing PRN brand: Collaborate with PRN subject matter experts and marketing specialists to establish and prioritize revitalization of the PRN brand.
- Sales enablement: Work directly with PRN leaders to establish needs for B2B sales conversations about our technology solutions. Execute development of marketing assets including presentations, sell and spec sheets, marketing messaging and direct/mass communications.
- Content creation: Work with writing, design and web team members to contribute to content creation and marketing assets.
- Event or meeting collaboration: As needed, work with sales, on-site event, facilities and marketing automation teams on execution of promotional events or on-site meetings.
- Sales pipeline and in-bound leads: Strategy and execution of activities that drive in-bound leads, as well as reporting on current metrics.
- Market research and competitive landscape: Understand the ever-changing global competition for technology that impacts the shopper, audience, and guest experience.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or related field, or proven experience in a marketing, product marketing or communications role.
- 8+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role required. B2B and/or technology experience is a bonus.
- Experience in doing business in the United Kingdom is a must.
- Knowledge of product marketing fundamentals and comfort working with experts and sales leaders to promote PRN’s solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to content creation.
- An interest in technology and how it impacts everyday life, especially in retail, restaurants, and hospitality venues.
- Proficiency in website management fundamentals, website updating and WordPress.
- Understanding or proficiency in marketing automation and automation platforms. Knowledge of Pardot and/or Salesforce is preferred.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and strategy.
- A solid understanding of PPC strategy, SEO, SEM is a plus.
- Ideas and strategies to drive in-bound leads.
- Understanding of budget, project and event management.
- Comfort with assisting with events and greeting guests at the facilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with web and design teams.
- Strong project coordination skills and experience working with an agency style marketing team.
The PRN marketing manager will work closely with the PRN team in US. As such, early-morning/late evening meetings may be required on a semi-regular basis.
Extra European Language
PRN is an international company and is currently experiencing significant growth in Europe, with the main focus on countries like UK, Germany, France, Benelux and Spain. Because of this, having experience with working in Europe or with companies based in Europe may be beneficial to this role as might being able to speak a European language such as Dutch, Spanish or German. Speaking French is not a must, but a bonus. The PRN Marketing manager may need to remotely attend meetings taking place in US so should be prepared for semi-regular early-morning/late evening meetings. They may also be expected to travel to trade events within Europe/US.
Other qualifications:
- An interest in retail and customer service – the ways in which types of retailers serve their customers and how customer expectations may differ across different territories.
- An interest in creative marketing executions. Candidates should ideally be aware of the leading marketing and advertising agencies and the work that they do.
